Maybe you’re all a bit fed up looking at snowy pictures by now. Myself, I still have a little left in the snow admiration bank. It could be because after the great tonnage of the white stuff that has fallen on the country in the last few weeks, it was only last night that I got to be in the right place for a fresh fall. So with only one cup of tea inside me and a couple of slices of toast, I went out this morning for a wee look – two and a half hours later I got back. What can you say about a white world – it’s lovely, I learned something about how a squirrel runs and it was too early to get a pint in the Dumb Post on the return leg. Surprisingly, I took pictures – have a look if you can still bear it.

Is that a road or a frozen river?
That is beautiful. I love it when everything is white and sparkly…it\’s just magical. It looks like a frozen river, Anne…there is no camber to the ice.
Sandi (you\’ve no idea how unnatural it feels to type it that way) that\’s a fine piece of Sherlock Holmes logic. Indeed Anne, it is a river. I only know that because I took the picture but looking at it it could easily be a road.
Freshly fallen, untouched fluffy snowy, flakey white stuff is totally magical, and the stuff of fairy tales. I could never become tired of looking at it. It is the aftermath when snowy dreams become break-neck nitmares that strike dread and trepidation into the heart of a wild icy moon wolf! HoooOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWwwwwwwwwwwLLL ;))
"thank\’s for the compiment on the photo\’s", "red kite\’s" i love them too, if you and kess fancy a good day out take yourself\’s off to watlinton hill, that\’s where the red kite introduction plan started, i hear they now have started on bringing back raven\’s too, it\’s a nice old stone town watlinton aswell, "good food there",,,,,,,,,,, "and your sure to find a nice cup of tea there also" !!!!!!!!!!!!
funny you mentioned fairport convention, they were one of the opening act\’s for led zep at knebworth back in 79, !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fairport and Led Zeppelin together on the same bill is not a combination you might normally imagine but why not – I feel monday would be a good time for Led zeppelin to return the favour – I would get quite good value for my £18
"you never know your luck" robert plant has done cpopredy, and there is a very good version of the battle of evermore floating around with fairport backing him, one you realy should try is the leamington peace festival, "you\’ld love it" the main stage is all young local band\’s, and the bandstand is just folk and poet\’s, and here\’s the good bit,,,,,,,,,,,(it\’s freeeeeeeeeeeee)
